Tender Management

Tender Management

Tendering is a process for getting a contractor and agreeing on a price. Tendering is the process by which the client or employer invites contractors to place a bid for work on a construction project. Contractors' bids are based on the tender documents issued by the client

Tenders are usually conducted in four stages, Prequalification of contractors, the issue of tender documents, receipt review & comparatives of bids and tenders, technical & commercial negotiations, and award of contracts.

Domum has expertise from prequalification to award of contracts for projects in India and abroad. Our tenders are drafted based on the local construction culture and practice. BOQs and specification are reviewed jointly with the contractor to arrive at the common and uniform understanding of the nature of work. These tenders are usually consisting of two volumes i.e., volume-1: general Condition of contracts, and Volume-2: technical specification. Arbitration clauses are part of general condition of contract and were included to safeguard the interest of the stakeholders.
